Project Rhosneigr Minutes of Management Meeting held at Glan Llyn Bach on 11^th February 2008

1. Apologies: Joyce Kerslake, Rhian Price, Jackie Lewis, Maggie Jarman, David Walley. 2. Minutes of last meeting: Proposed Bill Collard – seconded Brett Parsons. 3. Projects : · Maelog Lake Work starting this week. It was proposed that we have a garden area around the start of the boardwalk. Help could be enlisted from Judith - ‘The Plant Lady’ who looks after boat island. Also grants available from B&Q and Homebase but we need to apply before the end of March. · Leaflet – A launch date of 31^st March was set – Alison to chase advertisers and arrange a meeting with the designers. · Boatpool outlook – Statutory declaration to be signed this week. · High Street – It was suggested that we arrange the street festival to coincide with the opening of the new village hall. DB to contact Maggie Jarman. 4. Web Site/Domain name – Derek has registered Rhosneigr-on-line.co.uk It was agreed to launch the new website end March to coincide with the brochure and to produce the newsletter at the same time to encourage the village to use the new site. 5. Newsletter – To be agreed with David. 6. Future Plans –Derek showed a dvd produced in Caernarfon depicting the past with commentary by local people in Welsh and it was agreed that a similar project could be undertaken for Rhosneigr.
