Project Rhosneigr Minutes of Management Meeting held at Glan Llyn Bach on 11^th August 2008

1. Apologies: Maggie Jarman, Joyce Kerslake, David Walley, Phil Fowlie, John Morrison. 2. Minutes of last meeting: Proposed Bill Collard – seconded Pip Chinnery. 3. Projects : · Brochure: - Design finalised – awaiting actual copy from L29 Design. Rhian asked that it be resubmitted to the translator for final approval of the Welsh version. Pip has the agreement of Menai Cottages to place copies of the brochure in all their establishments. Derek to approach the ferry port to stock them there but we should also consider other points further afield. · Maelog Lake: – We still need chippings etc for the garden area – Pauline has written to Huws Gray and Watkins Jones for help/funding. It was agreed that Pip and Brett should take on the project of reporting on further improvements to the Lake. · Boatpool outlook – no further progress. · High Street –Pauline has written to R L Davies and Son for funding for replacing the tree by the clock. Pip has had advice on the type of tree which should cost approx £25. However the bulk of the cost for this project will be the planting. We need to chase up the installation of the brackets on the buildings along the High Street. · Rhosneigr History – Derek has scanned about half of the brochure from Maggie. 4. Newsletter – This needs progressing asap. 5. Future Plans – No new plans at this time although the carnival will need to be discussed soon. 6.
